I’ve lurking for months. Might have continued forever if this place hadn’t thinned so far left. Instead I’m defending one of the leading Dem 2028 candidates doing a podcast, and the value of having a guest with dissenting views, or how that will drive traffic. Stop being everything they hate us for.

A little more context - there was an 85K undervote for the Michigan Senate race vs. presidential and a significantly higher 3rd party candidate vote. So don’t DOGE the fact it’s not apples to apples.

Probably every political advisor he’s spoken to in the last 5 months. And they’re probably telling him he needs to stake out space more center left than potential 2028 primary candidates. And be able to hold his own in conversations with the far right. Seems pretty strategically sound advice.
