Thats because they usually have some kind of motive, instead of just being too stupid to function

It's young people here too unfortunately. The only reason I see it is because I'm white so people feel comfortable saying the rhetoric around me, there's a lot that most people aren't seeing. Anti immigration sentiment has been increasing on all ages.

People should be aware of this en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interna... This is a global right wing conservative cabal, headquartered in Munich, run by former conservative Canadian PM Stephen harper. Their goal has been to conquer the world for conservative policies globally and they've been successful

Yeah, we pretend to be a kind and tolerant place, despite all of canadian history being the opposite. Maybe I'm biased from having lived around mostly working class canadians, but I've never seen a tolerant Canada that matches our international image.
comment in response to post
It's a thing. Most canadians I know have some native blood, often french/native. Doesn't make them any more tolerant, lot of people have a very hard time trying to put themselves in someone else's shoes.

Is this left in the room with us right now ?

Yes.

Regardless of what your intentions are, you should be more aware of how it looks to constantly say "you guys" when talking to a singular black person.

Ehh.. I'm not sure I don't know her personally. What I can say is you can ask any canadian family what they think of the native population in canada and you're going to hear some very frightening and familiar rhetoric.
comment in response to post
I can understand that sentiment, but you are doing the same thing when you keep saying "they" instead of using the person's name who you are talking to. If someone is mad at you, ask them why instead of insisting it's part of a stereotype of whatever group they are in.
comment in response to post
That's fair enough, that doesnt show up on this thread because of deleted posts. But why are you combining their identity? Why the "you people"? Why the "I've seen black people ..." why are you ascribing the beliefs of one person to another group of people ?
comment in response to post
Unfortunately there's a lot of canadians like her. We're polite people usually, but we have a pretty long history of racial intolerance. It's way more common than people realize.

Curious why you brought up Obama specifically when talking to Talib. I'm pretty sure I know the reason, but would love to hear your spin.

Irony is telling people they comment too much online and spend too much time online, and then immediately after say you post dozens of comments online a day.
comment in response to post
Because that statement was condemning black people for political divides they did not create , despite not being able to produce any examples of that.

Tesla is much easier to boycott than most companies, mostly because its expensive. A lot harder to boycott things people rely on like grocery chains

If you are going to quote me, why not actually quote me? Because I can read as well, and we both know I did not say those words, even if it's how you understood them. I'm here for the debate, but can we please be adults about it. If you want to know my sentiments, ask.

None of that is what I'm doing, I have a lot of empathy. But your perceived empathy, how is that helping ? Have you contacted this person or tried to help? Or are we both just firing at eachother and not helping this person.
