Yeah, these are lives, property and crops that the NWS is protecting (that's their mandate) and to lay off so many of them and turn off crucial data collection- terrible. DOGE is also turning off their modeling supercomputer soon- why? who's are they going to have to rent from for $$$$- Elon's.

This is because the National Weather Service (NWS) has been DOGE-ED, and forecasting- ESPECIALLY TORNADIC ACTIVITY will be affected. Radiosondes provide detailed information about moisture, temp changes, wind direction and speed at different altitudes- essential for tornado forecasting. So Sad.

So if the president can defy the Supreme Court and get away with it- then why not the states too. There are plenty of rulings that CA and NY don't want to follow.

I don't think people understand that Trump doesn't care about shareholders and thinks they are #suckers. I think every GenXer out there expected this to happen just before their retirement time- we hoped it wouldn't happen, but always expected the worst from our government. This is why I also don't believe Roth IRAs won't get an additional tax at retirement. It's coming IMO.
