It is inhumane to detain people LEGALLY seeking asylum for days, months, and years. People following the legal immigration process are also being deported.
comment in response to post
Yeah, it's different state to state. Because voting suppression.
comment in response to post
We aren't tolerating it. There are protests that aren't being covered by media. We also are boycotting spending on February 28th and unnecessary spending in general.

You can only request ballots so far in advance. Midterms are not until the end of 2026 and I'm pretty sure they won't have them ready until it gets closer
comment in response to post
We don't blame you. So sorry for your loss. Next time if you need to vote by mail, just find your county's .gov website and look for their election board info. Try to do this over a month in advance because of potential deadlines/waiting for the ballot

So you admit that it's random and based on feelings.

You were able to quantify low wages.
comment in response to post
And how did you quantify CEO brains working 500x or more harder? 🙄
comment in response to post
All workers use their brains and have to commit to work. You get fired if you don't. But the big guys at least get golden parachutes, so you can argue that they DON'T have the incentive to really commit to work.

Funny, because the top 10% are not doing 75% of all labor.

Thousands less in other countries. Surprised?

The entertainment show...

So then how come the TSA can do it so much faster?
comment in response to post
Furthermore, safety checks don't take days. Imagine if the TSA held you for months for a flight to another country. Shame on anyone who thinks it's okay to imprison people and literal children for crossing an IMAGINARY border.

"source that lied" Which source tells you it didn't happen? Your feelings?
comment in response to post
Assault and telling legal immigrants to drink toilet water. And deporting legal immigrants.
comment in response to post
Oh, a bad faith argument. I'm the only one that actually cited a source. Maybe you can cite one that shows how wonderful detention centers are and how they never hold legal immigrants for more than a day and never lose children 🙄
comment in response to post
"It's not true, because that would make my opinion look bad" "just like those in jails and prisons" 🤡
comment in response to post
We don't cult worship Biden like you do with Trump. Biden could've done a lot of things better. But he wouldn't call to deport everyone.

And I don't blame them ICE agents are sick to hold women and children in inhumane conditions, even when they've LEGALLY sought asylum Told to drink toilet water. Not to mention be assaulted. ICE is sick.
comment in response to post
It's not a crime to teach people their rights. It's so sick that you blindly support ICE. They're the real criminals.
comment in response to post
They do detain and deport asylum seekers. ICE agents are the criminals.
comment in response to post
Asylum seekers are here legally. Speaking of criminals though, ICE agents are vile. They talk about how hard it is to see children in prison... they're the ones putting children in prison. They have also LOST hundreds of children. And there's a lot of assault happening in detention centers.
comment in response to post
Asylum seekers are here legally. And you think she's the moron?
comment in response to post
Asylum seekers legally crossed. And even if they didn't, that's a non-issue because ICE is inhumane and abusive. They will and do hold people for days-years after they've crossed legally.

Start with Trump
comment in response to post
People are boycotting unnecessary spending and supporting businesses that support human rights People are going out and protesting across the country. The media just isn't covering it

Buddy, big pharma lovessss private insurance. It's their sugar daddy. They talk. They make deals together.
comment in response to post
But yes, since you clearly don't understand, we don't need to pay all the customer service representatives with UHC. Talk about unnecessary jobs. ALL of the jobs in private health insurance are unnecessary.
comment in response to post
Yeah, the $196k is because of private insurance. The extreme prices are not a thing in UHC countries
comment in response to post
You replied to me, asking what is wasteful cancer spending. Private healthcare & the existence of medical debt is absolutely wasting our money.
comment in response to post
Yes, you pay for other people's healthcare in private insurance. Including cancer care. Also, you pay for uninsured people's healthcare too. You think hospitals aren't upcharging you to cover losses? Also, high healthcare costs lead to higher rates of stress & therefore higher rates of cancer
comment in response to post
If you want to cut wasteful cancer spending, then vote progressively because private healthcare overcharges us to make those profits and we have way too many middlemen (administration, insurance processing, customer service representatives).
comment in response to post
No, that's called a rumor. Try reading actual news sources

I think it's weird to think it's one person's job to uphold democracy Think about midterms. You can support voting movements. Amplify the reporting of voter suppression. Even sharing your local voting/registration deadlines with family and friends is important.

He spoke at length on the senate floor about the threat to democracy this week, but I suppose if he casually mentions universal healthcare on social media, that means all is lost.

Oh okay, you just don't want him to eat or shower during the day. That's so much better 🙄

There is a fascist maga culture. It was created by talking & spreading hateful vitriol. Do not underestimate the power of voice. We need to KEEP and BUILD the momentum for progressive policies.

"every minute of every day fighting" So this is conservative thinking. Thinking that a representative should not get any sleep... Deranged entitlement. I don't know how YOU'RE not embarrassed.
comment in response to post
You're making it clear that YOU think Bernie isn't doing anything to fight for democracy Are you serious?
comment in response to post
And yet here you are saying that we shouldn't talk about things that would actually help decrease the fascism
