That's true, I see it that way as well. It is very interesting to see the differences in each Lupin the 3rd anime. I'm not really into the manga, especially since the first one is incredibly dark and can be disturbing at times. I think the other Lupin mangas afterwards are tamer I believe.

I totally respect that, and while the design is really close, I just love the Cagliostro one because its the nicest version of Lupin that I remember ^^
