I made my first fursuit with an invisible zipper... and learnt the hard way that they are just not great for fursuits :-( I hope you manage to find a suitable replacement, and it doesn't spoill your time at the con.

True, I didn't get along with some of the software I tried out either. But I've wanted to learn embroidery digitising as a peronal skill to develop, rather than outsourcing any design work. I settled on Wilcom Hatch, as it has a large community of users, sharing guides and Youtube videos, etc.

Latex on a foam base is similar to how I make my nylon heads. It must have taken quite a bit of time!
