I believe that all forms of oppression are ultimately bad and do not serve the greater good, but the world would improve rather quickly if all the youth pastors, for example, were collected and locked up for a bit.

This is like when the Washington Football Team needed to reset and refresh and hired... Joe Gibbs.

Even the Kentucky Fried F*ckers hate this bill, more than anyone

I hope he can afford good security

Our only real hope of a multi-party system is to crush the GOP and then let the Dems fracture into their actual different groups

But somehow these guys never bring that up. Don't think I've ever heard a libertarian complain about the defense budget, just capital gains taxes

Never going to touch that though, are they

Loved the part when he says he still believes that government waste is a big problem despite finding no evidence of it.

The accusations are confessions. The tech industry is just a big investment circle jerk. They pay each other millions and billions, they have made up titles, and offices where the employees play ping pong most of the time. They've never had to run anything on a shoestring budget before

I think he had Xhaka in 22-23, if we can get the left side working like that season, he'll probably climb back into double digit goals. I also think the other players rumored don't actually look better but some of them play for famous clubs so we get it in our heads that they're world class players

And because it remains so inaccessible, it of course attracts billionaires because their entire ethos is about exclusivity

It was a really big deal when they found the Titanic. Shipwrecks that far out to sea are not common. The combo of the world's biggest and unsinkable ship going down, and in a remote location where no one could find it created a deep cultural fascination around it.

They're literally signing Zubimendi to replace him. What is wrong with these people? Could also be an eventual home for MLS. It's not that hard. I've been ready to move on from him for years now

These people only act right so they can get presents on Christmas, they have no idea how to behave without an official rulebook.

Would be more impressive if I ever finished one 🤣

Like I'm a cyclist, full on racer. Aero helmet, fancy wheels, constantly training. But someone who commutes by bike is also a cyclist, someone who rides mountain bikes on the weekend is also a cyclist. If you like riding bikes a lot, you're a cyclist. Why can't we be like that with gender?
comment in response to post
I know why, gender is so much more personal and sensitive, but I still think it's odd how we allow people to perform things in so many ways, but then everyone has a hyper specific concept of how to perform their gender which is in conflict with all others

"uncertainty" about some of the finer points of gravity doesn't mean we aren't sure if it exists. Acknowledging that there's always more to learn about something isn't the same as "nothing is knowable or true and therefore probably untrue"

In a society as obsessed with exceptionalism as ours is, survivorship bias strongly implies that everyone who doesn't survive deserves d*ath. So let's not use it to justify anything
comment in response to post
When you remember that exceptionalism is baked into every atom of US culture, "I survived" is saying that anyone who didn't survive was inferior and deserved it. Absolutely disgusting.

The problem is that I'm a linguist so everything is impossible to make until I've created a dozen unique languages which is obviously too much work so I end up doing something else

My dog only loose-leash walks AFTER the frantic search for the correct toilet-lawn is over. Which of course takes at least 2/3 of every walk

I had to go home early on the last day of school this year (kindergarten teacher) because my allergies morphed into a full cold with sore throat, cough, headaches, etc.

Refusing to cover excellent women candidates feels a lot like guys who refuse to hire women then saying women don't want to work in this field, "just look, it's only men working here." Journalists love acting like they're data scientists, passively observing society, definitely not influencing it

Never mention Musk, just talk about the billions of dollars being paid to deep state bureaucrats and Fox's viewers will go rabid. "But for some reason, we can't get any of our Republican colleagues to support this bill..."

Go on Fox News with interviews like "we agree with the white house's position that we must curtail federal waste. One of the biggest problems we currently have is when agency leaders also have an interest in the companies receiving contracts..."

Not a political ploy, a fascist ploy. Make the wording vague enough and then you can apply it to teachers, or doctors, or whoever else. They're going to start with something small like college athletics and if they're successful, they'll quickly move to make every part of trans life illegal
comment in response to post
It's about getting something on the books that the SCOTUS can reference as an excuse to allow even more aggressive Anti-Trans laws. Same with birthright citizenship. They're starting with immigrants, but they want that law so they can imprison anyone they don't like

Firebolt, not even fireball. Probata wild magic sorcerer who has no idea what they're doing, probably changed themself into a pig right after this and don't know how to reverse it, that's why the police can't find them
