Nintendo just announced they're giving gold points the axe from the end of March. What this means: - No more "5% cashback" on digital purchases - No more using gold points to buy a cheap game to zero a gift card balance from a different region, which is necessary to switch region back.

Re-watching The Handmaid's Tale to prep for the final season. Probably the best world-building I've seen, how pieces of the dystopian horrorshow are revealed every episode, how the characters change and adapt to the world around them. It's an incredibly oppressive show to bear witness to.

Having an issue with latest YT Music update where the music stutters when using just Bluetooth earphones. Bluetooth speakers, casting and internal speakers are fine. Seems like a codec thing because I rolled back to the previous version of the app, and there was no issue.

Fit3 arrived. Some impressions: + The wrist band is way more secure and lighter + Album art and queue with music player + Breathing guide + Battery charges very fast + Calculator built in - A lot of ugly watch faces - Very short USB-C proprietary charger cable - Still not keen on its design

Recently learned that Casio released some new watches that have the classic interface, but have built in Bluetooth, lap timing+history and step tracking, citing battery life as "up to two years". As gimmicky as that is, I kinda want one lmao.

Thought my Gear Fit2 watch was snuffing it, dying after less than a day of usage, so I ordered the Fit3 . Then I tried a hard reset. The battery reading went from 60% to 2%, but after charging fully and using it for two days, it's down to about 41%, which is strange.

Have had the Retroid Pocket 5 for a month now, it's become my swiss-army knife for playing everything except PS3 games using both emulation + remote-play. Using Razer Remote Play for PC, PXPlay for PS4/5, XBPlay for X360/X1, and emulation for the rest. Imagine a wee PS3 remote play thing came in.

Listened to "The Bad Fire". Lovely music, lots of ferocity and emotion in equal parts but as an album, and unlike their previous releases, it has a rather chaotic flow about it and that's probably due to the variation of different instrumentation/use of vocals, or how each track starts/finishes.

Going through the Colin MacRae Rally games in order. Only ever played the driving school portion of 1, which is pretty funny, especially when you're getting scolded at. The lack of distance calls by the co-driver does make night stages a lot more difficult.

Landman had a messy start for a few episodes, but once it balanced out and picked up the pace, it became a very well character driven story with action, emotion and laughs. It's a well written and casted show about ugly business that's never going away.
