I've only VERY recently - as in a few weeks ago - listened to the entire thing.

The sheer amount of cool features this game has is insane. From the screen getting dark around your party when night falls to the first person 3D dungeons, to the weird ass combat that is both first person and eagle's eye. It's smth I need maybe half a year to do justice in a video ๐Ÿ˜†

Then thereโ€™s Portugalโ€ฆ I get what they were going for, because I do think about the Roman Empire several times per week but I donโ€™t know if it was as good of an idea for a wider audience. What do you have to say about it, Mr. Portugal @st1ka.bsky.social ?๐Ÿ˜ #retrogaming youtu.be/WTFImPCqHUY (2/2)

Honestly, Jan+Feb are low views months for my channel as well. Seasonality is a big factor in viewership, and it's best to compare a period of time with the same period from last year and so on, as opposed to the immediate past.

Oh this game! I wanted to revisit it for my channel and thought about first doing a stream - but I could not get it to work properly for the life of me and I have it recorded if you want to see it ๐Ÿ˜† youtube.com/live/ysb3SA4...

I don't know how you can tell tbh, those look like the exact art from the gameโ€™s manual and promo materials.

None that I am aware of, this is from 2000 and very much a product of its time. From my understanding Nox Archaist is a throwback to a much earlier era of cRPGs ๐Ÿ™‚

NOX is an action RPG that doesnโ€™t take itself super-seriously, which is refreshing to say the least, even if I am talking about a 25-year-old game. Story-wise it works both as a tribute and a bit of a spoof of the Ultima series. youtu.be/sCRir2Elu-Q #gaming #pcgaming #retrogaming #crpgs #arpg #rpg
