She got very upset. Threatened to leave the group (effectively that would shut it down). I don't have the time or the inclination to waste it on supposed allies.

They don't get to have that conversation when they deny me and my community our rights. Once they return our rights to us we'll have a conversation about their marching at pride events and having their photo opportunity.

Get your useless leader to sort his principles out then or get rid of him.
If your party decides we do not have rights then expect a reply from trans people.
Labour was founded to stand up for the have nots in society. It needs to return to those principles or they're finished.

Do you know where I may find a grassroots team in West/South Yorkshire? I'd like to start playing seeing as I'm not allowed to now.... I am also socially inadequate so if was in a team doing things I'll be less socially inadequate...

A lot can be done about perception if they choose to. What I have trouble with is the current government cheerleading anti trans measures when they are cloaked in a proud history of helping and standing up for the LGBTQ+ community. They should know better.

I came out last November after years of anxiety and depression. Once 'i knew' then it was clear the path I had to take. It's the one lesson I've taken from others I know who have transitioned - do not fight your feelings.

I'm in my early 40s and came out last autumn after years of depression. Not being me was part of why I was depressed. The person on the left of the picture is what awaits me if a government that's supposed to stand up for me forces me backwards. I also won't be here anymore.
