We're already our own state, but I do think CA should be its own country. And, I'm okay with the "State of Jefferson" folks becoming their own tiny red state and staying attached to the United Red States.

... Just to finish my thought... So, Terry Moran's tweet was the truth. ABC News just bent the knee. Shame on them.

Yes. Time to fly to the protest in LA. Time to stand with the people. Stop playing the game and start fighting the fight.

For those who aren't able to view because of ad blockers, the video shows people quickly covering a freshly launched tear gas canister with a traffic cone, then a couple bottles of water poured in the top, covered by a hand for a few seconds until it is extinguished. Then on to the next one.

He hates California the most. We're diverse, lean very progressive, and we have a robust economy. We'd happily be our own country. We don't kiss his ring. It's hurts his toddler pride. So, here we are. Let's hope we can protect our immigrants without violence. A great time for a general strike.

Yep, because they care about kids (*sarcasm*), let's leave them on the streets of NY. This is so F-ed up!

As a musician, the loss of an instrument is like taking a piece of their soul. That instrument is a friend, a confidante, a home. Like having your house burn down, you'll cook in that new kitchen, but it will take months or even years before the trauma is gone. I've had it happen. It guts you.

They never read the entire text of the 2A. They thought it was just to feel safe from home invasions, and to open carry just for funsies.

Maybe, but they won't do it publicly.

"If I don't acknowledge having a hurricane season, we'll just have some rain and wind, but no actual hurricanes." Sounds a lot like, "If we don't test for it, we'll have less cases of Covid."

Also, a background in sexual assault and a felony pads their resume and makes them a shoe-in.

Miller doesn't wait to be asked. He pulls the puppet's strings and the puppet dances.

Those of us who are making a conscious choice to not shop at Walmart, and are choosing Costco are glad they treat their workers right. We won't jump to Walmart over a holiday. Quite the opposite.

Entirely this! And, WOW, they definitely are not a direct correlation.

Better, but not a catchy acronym. It's current name feels like something that belongs in a Felon midnight tweet, and that causes me to vomit in my throat just a little. Let's keep trying. We might be on to something.

Until the edit button becomes a feature, you can always quickly read your post, and copy/ delete/ newpost/ paste/ edit/ post, before anyone comments or likes. Not perfect, but it's a workaround.

It's time to give it a proper name. If the repubs can rename the Affordable Care Act into Obamacare, we can rename this piece of shit into something proper and truthful, like "Making Sadism Official Act", or something with a catchier acronym.

Donald Trump doesn't have a "best".

Truth! It would be much better for our planet if we supported and encouraged home power systems but greed/complacency/resistance to change keep society on the current destructive path.

That fetus will end up in NICU if it makes it that far. What are the chance that it will have a normal or even functional life? I'm guessing nil. To the family: Since you can't control anything else, start planning for the medical bankruptcy now. Hide your money. This is life in the Trumpsterfire.

That was exactly my immediate reaction. She's really a sicko.

I think it's based on total population, so we need 11.9 million participating.

It's based on research by Erica Chenoweth of Harvard University. Here's the BBC article that explains the 3.5% rule, which translates to 11.9 million in the US. www.bbc.com/future/artic...

He's "facing intense backlash" from world leaders everywhere except our own. Those who should scream the loudest are silent.

They actually multi-task in their evil acts. One damn thing after another is too linear for them. It's a shot gun blast of evil.

Also, be mindful of the fact that the people that wouldn't let their children attend class with Ruby Bridges were the parents of many people still alive today. Ruby is not the only one still alive. They carry with them the racist attitudes of their parents. Sure people can change, but have they?

So, the Trumpsterfire is taking the Muskmelon's word for it and saying it's white genocide when everyone else says it's not true? Gaslighting much? What's the likelihood they're friends of the Muskmelon?

They don't need to bug the plane. He's probably handing them the secrets, or maybe someone is leaking them on a Signal chat.

Yup. He should have to make do with a Piper Cub.
