Linguist here:
Ignoring the man's inability to spell (it is 'practising'; 'practice' is a noun) the use of 'singular they' in English precedes, by about 300 years, the use of singular 'you'.

It is the point so many have made: they won't attract Reform voters because they won't vote Lab. They will deter Lab voters by pandering to the fash,.
Their argument is "Vote Lab or get Reform".
People voted Lab--and Reform is what they got.

Juvenile rooks: high crowned head, almost pointed, unlike carrion crow's smoothly rounded one, and shaggy 'trousers' as opposed to CC's neat breeks, and CC has feathering partly along top of bill

I did forget one all-black crow, the chough, but they have a red beak (orange in juveniles). Here's a searchable sightings record for Irish birds

Fish crow is an American bird. If you're in Ireland (as in that link), the only all-black crows are carrion crow, rook and raven (jackdaws have silver grey to back of head)
From their Latin name, I call jays 'gobby nutters'. Suits them.
