This debate about ID cards always seems to assume that no one else has any experience in this area. 🇩🇰 & 🇳🇱 have things called CPR and BSN numbers, there's no physical card, you just need the number for many things and it's the system used for digital ID. How are they used against ethnic minorities?

I guess there are 3 ways to finance the 2 Trillion.
Government debt (like Germany)
FDI (current account deficit)/ foreign ownership
Retarget pension funds away from Gilts and Stockmarket to creating assets

I think it depends. Pension spending is commonly measured as % of GDP. I think it's because they are metrics which are commonly compared between countries. Absolute values are not very useful in those cases
