One of the biggest winners? Ed Miliband! The minister who commentators keep insisting is imminently for the chop or is having his budget slashed, whispering net zero is in doubt or GB Energy is being quietly binned. The reality is he got the the biggest increase in capital and GBE alone got £8bn.

Booker: "We have a president who did nothing as people stormed our Capitol, & then when those people who viciously beat police & led to some of their deaths - therefore cop killers - were convicted, he pardoned them. So for him to be talking about responsive law enforcement is hypocritical at best"

Earlier this week, I met with the Sec. of State for the Environment, Steve Reed, to discuss the shocking amount of sewage that's poured into our local rivers over recent years. I'm pleased that he's acted decisively today, and ended the Conservative era of rewarding polluting water company bosses.

This has been a really good week for Ipswich and our NHS. Thanks to our Labour Government’s Plan for Change, our local NHS trust will receive £8 million for important building upgrades, as well as a new radiotherapy machine. This is welcome investment as we improve care for local people.

Brexit was a big mistake caused by the Tories, now left in the lap of the current govt to redress. There is still division over it in the UK, with various sectors of the electorate shouting angrily about how to put it right. In reality it's not as simple as a post on a placard or wishful thinking.

Crockett: Right now, it seems like you don’t care about the constitution unless it’s the second amendment and that’s misinterpreted as well. There’s other amendments.. And we don’t get to just change it because our fearless leader says that he doesn’t like it

🤔 We asked you what made you proud in your community. Across the country, trust in national politics is low. But locally, there’s a deep pride in place. From neighbourhood communities you can depend on, to seawater pools, our communities are what give people hope. 🙌
