That’s how they get ya. It’s all a scam.

So, are hair clips considered piercings in the Splatoon world? --- This is the final post in this thread to be ported from Twitter. Any further posts added will be new observations.

Here's just a comparison of two very different pupper tails.

I might just assume that this was a quick day-one edit by a fan to demonstrate how they would've preferred the skin to have a pipe, but the reflected light from the pipe onto the underside of Piranha Plant's head and teeth is also different, suggesting the image was entirely re-rendered.

The default skin for Piranha Plant depicts him in a pot filled with soil, but there also exists an alternate render of the character depicting him in an empty pipe. This render emerged at the same time the other renders were released, suggesting the revision was made after renders were distributed.

And “female” makes it sound like you’re talking about a test subject or another species. Like a terrible airport employee, decades of sloppiness have left us boxed in by baggage.

Or is the Muppet Babies franchise a hypothetical extension of a hypothetical posed by a hypothetical version of Miss Piggy (since most of the Muppet movies are just hypothetical stories starring the muppets rather than canonical events of their lives.)

Female Robin's pose is different from Male Robin's, holding the tome open rather than closed. Here's a closer look at the pages.

can we talk about "Radiant Dawn" Ike's... furry eyelids?

Animal Well vibes.

Yoshi comes with a special and fuzzy "Crafted World" skin. His inner-mouth flesh is felt, but his tongue is still made of actual tongue flesh.

The Ultimate renders are good, but it's also nice to know that Nintendo doesn't know how to Photoshop fire onto a light-coloured background any better than I do. Might help if it was emitting any sort of light or glow onto Incineroar.

The hyper-realistic textures on Ryu's model are a stark contrast even against the very detailed standard set by the other models in this game. I'm scared of this Ryu. Twitter misflagged this image as inappropriate once upon a time.

Maybe the point of a hound's loose skin is to avoid injury from grabs and bites, but this still looks very painful...

What is “travelling”?

Yeah this is the 2011 Winnie the Pooh movie. One of the better ones, and I like the Rabbit in this movie, but he is a very different character.

Compared to the other male characters, Robin's fingernails are much longer. It appears as though, for simplicity, male and female Robin share the same hand model, so the hands are fairly androgynous. I'm struggling to find official Fire Emblem artwork that shows the character's ungloved hands.

It’s weakness as a dungeon is that it’s difficulty varies dramatically depending on how many hearts you go there with, and so knowing when to go is difficult, but the first time I played it I had just the right amount of hearts and it felt amazing.

Pacman seems to be wearing pleather gloves, and his shoes look like a very hard plastic all the way through. Maybe hard plastic shoes doesn't make a ton of sense, but looking at it, it feels right for Pac-Man.

The specular highlight on Megaman's eyes actually seems to be a little headlight glowing from within, rather than an actual specular highlight.

Look out, Sonic. Villager has an actual tread on his shoes.

Sort of reminds me of Scott Pilgrim Vs The World?

I guess Lucario's face is just black leather? I thought maybe this is what a dog's nose or paws looked like up close, but after a brief Google search, that's not really the case... ...The graphical quality of fur on Lucario's arm looks like a photograph of Cookie Monster.

I was thinking the same thing.

My first thought was Eastward, but I haven’t played it so I’m not super familiar with its style.

Some very beautiful fur work on King Dedede's sleeves.

What is "Locking Up Appearances"?
comment in response to post
It looks like the tread of Sonic's shoes is just a grey image printed on the bottom of his otherwise smooth grey soles. I guess that explains why he takes so long to pick-up speed from a standstill.

The plant textures on Ivysaur look great. I have nothing to say beyond that.

It was hard to make out in the resolution of the Wii U renders, but in Ultimat's hi-res renders, Wario's buttons say "W Made In" as a reference to "Made In Wario" (The Japanese name for the Wario Ware series.)
