The KKK is also well known for how they used to hide their faces to avoid being identified.

Exactly. The form of the discard and annihilation is what remains to be seen, but the fantasy, intent, and resolve to discard and annihilate "the other" is present now and will never subside in their respective psyches. Public narcissistic injury like this, given these subjects, is forever.

• Elon’s companies and their value rely heavily on government contracts and subsidies.
• Trump and his sycophants know that Musk was an illegal immigrant to the US.
• Musk floats impeachment aligning with the reason the tech bros Musk and Thiel installed their agent Vance.

And if Democrats do not learn to play on this field, if Democrats do not learn how to be motherfuckers and win on this field, then that’s the end for any hopes that this country has of salvaging some sort of representative democracy.
Sucks.

There is no high minded policy fight that people would only see if they weren’t distracted by the sideshow. There is no high minded policy fight, period.
This is the show. It’s total garbage, and again our politics and our populace are degraded possibly beyond redemption.
But this is it. (2)

When you know well how malignant narcissists think, you can predict pretty much up to the day when and what they will do, especially those who like to have a projector always aimed at them.

4) People who “know anything about the clinical world” understand that narcissists, in part b/c of their lack of empathy/ability to connect emotionally, are extremely transactional.
Elon paid $288 million to buy the election….and is dangling another, future $100 million transaction to Trump.

And, in a better world, none of our lives would be affected or put in danger because a bunch of insecure assholes who have been given everything can’t keep their shit together and make their problems our problems.
We got here because things are fucked. Do not forget that.

Trump is already doing much worse than before, people are harmed, economically, mentally and physically and almost nothing is done by the same people to stop him.

That's not how it works! That's not any of this works! Weather is a constant, localized research. The only cloud involved are the ones in the sky.

Trump already tried to eliminate the 2020 election. Look what happened.

If you burn down a forest, you don't miss out on lumber for just that season. You have to replant all the trees, nurture them, and wait for them to grow.
The science and research budget cuts happening now are wanton, senseless arson. Recovery, if it ever happens, will take generations.

Anyone who says here they can't wait to vote Republicans out should read that page and get the fuck out of that illusion that only give them a false sense of hope while doing nothing to take back democracy (and the right to vote).

Even now, as we deal with an authoritarian takeover, people are still living in aggressive denial because wrestling with what's going on would mean they would have to sit and reflect on what they want and how "normal" wasn't okay.
This is at the root of so much capitulation.

Problems in America boil down to the fact that our privilege has been built on the ability to remain childlike, or avoid responsibility and discomfort, which is why these people are looking to an authoritarian "daddy" to tell them what to do and how to be, because they value that over making choices
