Found an old YT video announcing Alex Caruso to A&M. Some of the comments: "This dude is the most garbage basketball player in high school!" "give me a scholorship from A&M if he gets one" "He only joined the basketball team so that he would stop getting stuffed in lockers"

Alex Caruso has been overlooked at every single stage of his basketball career. Now, it's impossible to ignore him. Here is Caruso's unbelievable journey, from Texas A&M ballboy to one of the best defenders in the NBA: www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/oklah...

Firing Thibs is a mistake, again. Wrote on how fans keep on falling for the easy narratives, missing the forest for the trees with the flawed but genius coach: www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/new-y...

Here's how Thibs' teams did the year after firing him. -Bulls: Went from 50-32 under Thibs to 42-40 with mostly the same roster -Wolves: Fired Thibs after a 19-21 start, went 17-25 the rest of the year and 19-45 the following year (after trading Jimmy Butler)

Had a delightful conversation with @vohit4rohit.bsky.social on the spell he bought (on sale!) from an Etsy witch that definitely caused the Knicks to win Game 5: www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/new-y...

"Thibs wouldn't play 9 guys in a baseball game" - Kenny Smith during Game 3 -Game 3: Played 9 guys double digit minutes, Knicks W -Game 4: Played 8 guys double digit minutes (plus Delon Wright 9 mins) -Game 5: Played 9 guys double digit minutes, Knicks W

I'm glad that Caruso has a big stage to show how much of a maniac he is. My favorite player to watch, and he was doing the same things while going unnoticed outside of Chicago over the past several years.

Alex Caruso is getting an opportunity to ham it up in the playoffs

Gobert did not get this pass

SGA driving gravity — draws all five defenders, kicks out for a corner 3

Games with 15+ assists, 0 turnovers since Haliburton entered the league: -Tyrese Haliburton (11x) -Chris Paul (4x) -James Harden (once) -Nikola Jokic (once) The Haliburton.

Nothing but net on this Ant jumper

This is how you sneak into media seating in style

I've been to a bunch of basketball games at State Farm Arena. Fever vs Dream is the first time I've seen every single person in the lower level standing up.

Caitlin Clark says she watched the Pacers game from her hotel room and recorded her reaction to Tyrese Haliburton's game-winner. "It's a pretty iconic video. Maybe one day everybody will see it, but not right now."

Cool court design for Fever vs. Dream tonight in Atlanta. Center court message: "Pay some respect to women's sports."

Wrote about SGA, the free throw merchant narrative, and why his greatness can't be reduced to playing for the whistle www.sbnation.com/nba/2025/5/2...

I investigated the Shai Gilgeous-Alexander free throw merchant claim. Yes, he flops sometimes. But when you check the receipts, there's not much to back up the level of criticism that he receives: www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/oklah...

Ant's growth as a passer

Daigneault played nine guys in that first quarter. The SGA/Caruso/Wallace/Joe/Kenrich Williams lineup that he closed with had only played 5 minutes all year, -50 net rating.

Bulls couldn't extract even one pick swap back for this guy when the Thunder had all of this to offer 😂

Nuggets are trying to set flare screens now for Jokic to get Caruso switched off him. Caruso is scramming right back into that matchup, he wants Jokic.

If you're watching THIS game and finding things to rage about, take a deep breath. These guys are putting out an amazing show, so many things to marvel at and appreciate.

Caruso had five points, two assists, and a steal in that first half. As usual, box score doesn't even come close to doing him justice. Totally changed the tenor of the game.
