In general, Boston fans these days just want to complain. Fans to be mad about every move regardless.

Love this. Only quip is the easy run shoes. People should find the right shoe for them and their stride for the daily stuff.

My first ever run over 15 miles I stopped my watch at 11 and it was in my head for so long.

I'm all for the Joe Milton experience. But not "ruining the starters stats" is hardly a reason to bring someone in cold off the bench.

They don't have Mac. Drake has plenty of arm.

Debuted in the marathon this fall after ~10 year hiatus from training seriously. Didn't get under 3 and a half, but just over.
(Now to try to push some HS/college PRs)

To me, the HR zone thing is really more about the concept of easy days easy. As long as that's happening no stress and enjoy making dinner

This week went south. Missed 3 runs due to family stuff and ended up south of 15 miles. Onto the next.

Sounds perfectly normal. If I take even a few days off, I notice mine is raised a bit the first mile or so.
I'd trust how you feel, may just need to work back into it.

I just don't think Samsungs zones are accurate. I'm always super off with them too.
Strava seems much closer for me personally base on perceived effort

During the workout, I'll try to catch what's happening in the moment, adjust as needed. That mental game comes in handy in a race.
After, review preparation, goals, and assess. More than likely it's just a bad day, but try to learn something from it.

Starting a base phase through the end up the year. Consistently hung out 35-40mpw this year. I'm hoping to ramp these to 45-55 mpw.

Put this together a couple weeks back. Likely needs a refresh but a good start.

Entirely overgrown here...found that out 12 miles into a 17 miler. Trailblazing at that point in a run isn't an activity I'd recommend

Didn't even get local legend status for all that work

That's an absolutely wild read if you don't know what you're reading.

Give you lists of people to follow to build your base up. Made this one for who I've found so far. Mostly Boston sports focused.

Growing quickly. Starter packs help. Only going to get better and easier to intake some positivity.
