This is my favourite kind of tree, an old, gnarly, lichen-covered hawthorn in the middle of a field in #Wales. Looks like it’s fallen over, but the wind up here just forced it to grow that way. Loads of patches of wool show it to be a popular scratching spot for local sheep.

You know what solves the “problem” of people you don’t like being in your bathroom? Gender-neutral toilets. Our office has 7 or 8 large cubicles with floor-to-ceiling doors & their own sinks. Every gender uses them and nobody cares.

Currently rewatching S1 of #StarWars #Andor. Even better on a second watch. Those first couple of episodes have so much terrific world building. The factory shootout in episode 3 is great! I’m open-minded and have enjoyed all of the Disney SW shows, but Andor really is the best. Can’t wait for S2.

Absolutely true! I’m currently waiting for a diagnosis for both autism and ADHD. It’s entirely possible I don’t have either but I just want to know, because something has been “a bit off” about me all my life. I wouldn’t want a cure, I just want self-knowledge.

I am now treating the sharing of AI slop as a means of filtering out online friends. If anyone I know shares an AI image of themselves as a Ghibli character or (currently) an action figure, that’s an instant unfollow and block. It’s not “harmless fun”. It goes against everything Ghibli represents.

Our little chonk had her annual vet checkup last week. Some minor tooth decay and a slight heart murmur, but nothing to worry about. She’s just middle-aged. (And the heart murmur could have been due to the stress of a vet visit.) ❤️
