Tesla doomed? But they have the unique Cybertruck with its broad appeal to nine year old boys. With its inspirational design by Musk himself, using his best ruler and a pencil.

BJ sacked everyone good for not cheering for Brexit, they were left with the weirdos and here we are. They have no answer to Farage, nothing at all.

There is something perversely satisfying about Trump being lied to so egregiously.

It's deeply wearisome; I have so many issues with it. I decided a few years ago simply never to do it. Everyone should.

More like, we have to find a way of stopping mendacious nimbies misusing good regulation for bad purposes. Good to see Reeves seems happy to intervene from the top on bat tunnels etc.

However dim, Trump has great power, and is willing to apply it to weaken Russia and force Putin to a peace deal. None of this requires intelligence on Trump's part.

There are paradoxes, but something new is happening. Trump doesn't get war (waste of money), thinks soldiers are suckers, knows that to do well in a deal you need to weaken your opponent, has a lively willingness to apply heavy, crude economic sanctions. It could bring a weakened Putin to the table.

I expect that like all Americans they are softly spoken and modest in their manners.

Putin must be running out of soldiers from North Korea, he's now recruiting knights from the 12th century

yes defence cooperation with Europe now could be a great plus for Labour, huge areas to develop there.

Dunno if any of them were actually going to vote Labour after the ejection of Corbyn etc

Heavens I'm not saying Trump is the only effective actor in putting economic pressure on Putin. But I guess sometimes the heavy-handed threats he specialises in can get progress. I know he's very good at bandwagon-jumping and this is certainly that - my point is, it might work.

Paris, France, where, I understand, they kiss on Main Street.

Yes I felt the same sadness. Something I admired is dying. Schama is sane and humane, but people will shout 'elitism', and they're not entirely wrong. There is a need for something new. Labour has a very narrow path to tread, if it exists at all. But they are trying, at least.

I went to a party I didn't really want to go to and found out that my arthritic thumb joints can probably be replaced, feels like a reward for not letting introversion deny me things. And I get back some hands that can fix things.

They do stand out in that way. They're not so ubiquitous in the uk as I gather they are in the us, but I found them when working in a library. They're like a quiet loving satire on human frailties. Arnold Lobel?

Oh that would definitely bring the conflict to a close. After the immediate and total response.

Once saw a class of 12/13 year olds constantly throw questions at a free Church of Scotland minister until he told them he believed the descendants of Adam and Eve had sex with their siblings to produce the human race.

But fees keep going up exponentially above inflation. There's not enough money in the whole of east angular to pay for that.
