What really horrifies me is this isn't satire, it isn't parody, it isn't even a fucking analogy. This is reality.
The only way I'm coping is by accepting that reality has been slowly breaking down, and now it's at a cascade point where the ridiculous becomes horrifyingly real.

I've got playlists for every mood on the spectrum; oddly enough, it was the darkest, bleakest, angriest stuff that helped me survive. Now I'm mainly turning into a treadmill junkie and curating playlists for my hour on the "variable" setting at the gym, with a lot more BPMs.

Marcelo Gomes Da Silva a 17yr HS student in Milford, Ma. arrested on his way to practice. A judge mandated his release after spending 6 days detained . In an interview he said he was housed with grown men in a facility with not enough beds. They were fed only crackers. This is inhumane treatment.

Seeing it in real time, not 75 years removed on another continent, and it's apparent how much the initial momentum of fascism relies on any opposition being disorganized, reluctant to overreact, willing to parse the details, to compromise a bit and just calm things down.
That's part of the plan.
