The Army reversing course on recruiting has been entirely attributable by meeting society where it is. The biggest problem is those academic entrance standards and, to a lesser extent, an obesity epidemic.

What's the deal with men? It's a larger trend of boys falling behind. They're struggling in school, lagging far behind girls & not meeting military academic entrance standards. Boys are more likely to have criminal records & more likely to be overweight. www.military.com/daily-news/2...
