Sheila Medd please (surname rhymes with ‘Fred’). My wonderful, desperately missed mam (as we call them up this way). Thank you so much.❤️ #RememberedMums25

Four years of this pathetic, overgrown child. I cannot deal with it. So depressing. What the hell were you thinking, America? AGAIN!!

The arrogance and petulance those two display should be a terrifying dose of reality to those who voted these pathetic bullies into office. Utterly shameful.

If we have serious ambitions about playing in the CL, then we should be able to pick up a good haul of points over the next couple of months. Even our final games feature a rival at St James, Arsenal and Everton who will probably have nothing to play for at that stage. All to play for.

As for the league, we are in a European spot and two points outside a likely CL place, only four behind 3rd place, with a decent set of fixtures upcoming.

Out of our forwards, he’s definitely the most dangerous. We’ve done ok, didn’t collapse after conceding like we did at City, which is one positive. Have to make sure we take any chances that come our way though.

Maybe a bit of adversity will bring out that sh*thousing side and we’ll battle to a result.

Then claim that this is the natural order of things. That they deserve to be advantaged, conveniently forgetting that their clubs were able to spend without limit to get there. The most frustrating thing is that we were on the cusp of being there. Got into the CL in the wrong year.

The biggest barrier to winning any trophy in the current footballing climate is that a small number of clubs keep winning them by flexing their entrenched privilege. We need to have the rub of the green just once, on one fine day this March…

If losing tonight was a guarantee of winning on the 16th, I’d take a sound 20-0 thrashing tonight. I agree, tonight won’t likely have much bearing (unless Dan Burn cuts Salah in half and he misses the next few weeks).

Ha! 😂 We laugh, but my auld dad was in nappies last time we won a domestic trophy. We need to win one soon.

God, I hope he does.

Winning stuff is the only way to properly do it. I’m hoping once we get that first one, it’ll be like the proverbial buses and we’ll bag a load of trophies in quick succession. 🤞

Year and years of conditioning to be disappointed, passed from father to son like some sort of genetic memory.

I think we are going to have to win the Champions League 8 years in a row to properly knock this type of thinking out of us.

Desperately short memories, man. Those slagging him off this time last year are probably the same people lauding him now and slagging Pope off instead.

It doesn’t take much for people to start moaning for some reason. It seems they also feel the need to invent issues.

He’s an intelligent footballer, he sets the tone for that midfield. He made a positive difference when he came on, but by that point those around him had already lost their heads. Anyway, got the points and onto Wed night 😬

Howe’s post match quotes made it clear he wasn’t happy with what he saw second half. Howe being Howe he’ll be doing the analysis and picking apart why it went wonky. A fully fit Tonali in there improves it straight away for me anyway.

Eddie Howe says we've "seen the best of us & worst of us in the two 45 minutes," & it's difficult to argue. Newcastle blew Forest away & then allowed them back into the game. Ultimately, that's a big win against a direct rival for a European place even if, as Howe said, "it feels like we lost."

…no mass brawl, but we are now in a position where a win puts us top 5. However, it’s tightening up behind, which puts a different pressure on. Put simply, we need to win. Hopefully a reaction from last Sat is what we’ll see. #NUFC

Automatically flags it as made up. It’s close to half what we’d be asking.
