There's nothing Trump craves more than the Nobel Peace Prize. What if the Peace Prize Committee gave Trump the Prize CONDITIONALLY, with the condition being that every Russian soldier must have left Ukrainian soil? That should do the trick.

The technique of slowly dismantling democracy once in power is a technique that was used by Hitler. It even had a euphemistc name: "Geleichshaltung". You could translate it in non-euphemistic terms to "Normalization of the Deviance from Normalcy" or NDN.

"Freedom" today is a concept primarily used by demagogues and advertising people. Liberal democracies on the other hand focus on building RIGHTS for their citizens. Because somebody's freedom is simply whatever is left after respecting those rights of other citizens.
