Not to mention Netanyahu at 75. For me, justice doesn't have a part in this. I'm just sorry that you and Grace were parted too soon. The love you show remains an example for us all.

The present can't ever be undone, but I wouldn't mind a few examples being made as lessons for those people tempted in the future. Quite a few, actually.

This much disgust so early in his second term. It's difficult to see where this might lead. Over here the dead duck Tories held on for a couple of years after the nation had had enough and were then virtually obliterated by an angry electorate. That's one (sadly distant) possibility.

Like you, I think, longing for 'consequences'. The patience required for this might possibly be construed as character building. But Karma should get it's finger out!

Taken from you far too young. ❤️

All sounding depressingly accurate.

Like somebody trying to remember the shape of a Firebird after a hazy nocturnal dream. Of course it's barely weird at all. Yer pushing it here, bud!

Started rewatching The Marvellous Mrs Maisel as comfort viewing a week or so ago. Redd Foxx party records feature in a couple of early episodes. Nice.

Seven more years and she'll get the hang of the job. I'm almost certain.

Nancy was my immediate thought.

Is a saunter a march? A relaxed march perhaps. One step above a sashay.

It can never be forgotten that MZ was on the podium at the last inauguration. Aside from his face, he doesn't annoy me as much as several others do but he does seem to take many more wrong decisions than right ones, in my book at least.

Oh dear. How did you upset Meta? I run a few groups over there and although I've never been personally reprimanded, it's impossible to find a human being to interact with when algorithm injustices occur - as frequently happens.

That's reassuring to hear, Suzette. Let secularism reign!

I'm seeing BC Rich influence in that upper horn. Ready to be corrected but the dark natural wood finish with contrasting stripes yell 'seventies' at me. Not necessarily a bad thing. The Bigsby seems an offbeat choice though. Perhaps it's there as ballast to correct neck-dive when worn on a strap?

I think the Guardian's headline leaves open the question of whether Iran's revolution is defensible in any way or not, given the repressive decades following the initial optimism after the Shah was ushered out. This is not a good person by any stretch of the imagination.

'Limp' may be the word for the event from what I've read.

An increasing proportion of Americans perhaps. That's enough to be going on with. 💙

Really? I thought 'public GiftHub suppository' had a better ring to it?

Awesome design! The right frets and neck profile and I'd happily play a guitar version of that.

Lots of colour today in these beautiful photos, Emmaeli. I interpret that as meaning positive things. ✅🌟

His face did seem to have defeat written all over it in the photos I've seen.

Alright. Not an easy please, I see. That might present a few challenges. (Okay, okay! Rightly so. I admit it.)

Happy father sez thank you kindly.

Cat cafes in London. I don't know how they work but I'm glad they exist. Probably not open during the witching hours so that might leave a niche business opportunity for an enterprising feline fancier. 🐈

Good morning, Paulette. 🙂 Good? It's been okay so far. I'll reserve final judgement until midday when it'll be too late for some bugger to ruin it.

The Brits will be devastated at losing their monopoly on absurdist comedy.

Breaking news: Saturday has arrived over here. I keep wanting them to up the pace in Murderbot but this was a good episode.

A quarry in Wales, most likely. Been there, watched that. Probably why I'm endlessly fascinated by the Mars Rover photos, boyo.

"How long will Trump stand by him?" Until he ceases to be effective as a human shield, and not a nanosecond longer.

Promising show. 28 minute episode. Subtract the recap, opening credits and closing credits - 25 minutes per week is just too slow for me to sustain momentum with my enthusiasm for the program.

Nobody expects The Phantom Traffic Warden! Har har.

I liked just off Portobello Rd for 10 years. Steel pan bands are deep inside me. Somewhere. Along with carnival sunshine, wide smiles and riots.

Now on my radar, thanks Monkey.

Nice one, Doug. Sahara-dry wit.

50s and 60s German guitars often combined beautiful luthiery with quirky electrics. This looks like a perfect example. My first electric was a Framus Sorento 12, as I think I mentioned before. My friend Ben can't see a wooden bridge without wanting to put flat-wounds on the axe. "No, Ben."

Son #1 was born that March. I remember it like yesterday. Top of the Pops not so much.

I remember that from his first term. I think he held the bible upside down. Which would be apt.

Rest easy. Hitting a brown note on the keyboard. Characteristic inattention to detail.

Ah. Understood. East easy, Brian. After Sly the other day, is 82 the new 27?

Is it really live? They're all a mile away from the mics. Nice Fender showcase though, and it's always a lovely tune. Thanks for the link.

And what a hat it is!

Upper horn for strap button location no doubt. The other button looks a bit close to the bridge for comfortable palm muting, unless, of course, it's designed to be worn down by the knees and muting doesn't come into consideration. Looks high functioning to me.

London's Regent St. Huge demo during his first term state visit. When you rile up the introverts, you know that trouble is just around the next corner.
