Just saw The Gorge on aTV+. Such an unimaginative and cliché movie. Bad screenplay (so much holes), bad acting (Anya Taylor-Joy is insufferable 😣), horrible over-processed grading, poorly done VFX (you can feel the compositing and green screen all the time) Don’t waste your time

Sometime BMD’s software works in mysterious ways. The SDI input of my Decklink Studio 4K suddenly stopped receiving any signal. Plug-unplug electricity or TB2 didn’t help, exchanging SDI cable or input/output neither. Even tried to reboot the Mac. Nothing. Just a blacks screen.

Editing multicam on FCP is so amazing, especially with music shows. 9 cams, 1080p, mix of XDCAM, AVCHD, DSLR and stuff. Everything is so fluid, it just works. It let you get in the groove As a comparaison, I edited a small music show last week on avid too and it was just… meh #postchat #fcp #avid

Dolby Atmos (Spatial Audio) sounds so good on a real Atmos system. I enjoy it so much, so immersive. But it is a real turn-off on stereo systems. Be sure to turn it off on headphones and HomePods.
