To be clear, I saw no signs of violence or anything that would warrant teargas. They brought in horses and then we heard a bunch of loud pops before the crowds started running.

just please remember, whatever the news says about LA after this, that this is *always* how it goes. Everything is extremely calm until the police actively escalate for no reason. It was true during all the BLM protests and it’s true now.

The development seems super early, they only really showed a barren central shopping district, shrine, and classroom with Yu running around. Hopefully this is just "making it pop for a trailer" and they dial it back for the real game, or have an option to bring it back to reality.
