Didn't help he scored one goal and you had team mouthpieces talking like we were witnessing 99's debut.
Same thing happened in 2023 preseason where Felix Unger-Sorum has a couple of good games against ECHL players and the Canes make him part of the meet the team event like the next big thing lol.

This org can’t help themselves. Have to feel like they earned every penny of an advantage over every person that comes in contact of them.

Add front-office staff members as well. Think if they had to use general parking, tickets, concessions, bathrooms for a game, things would be much, much different.

Also the naming rights on that area is worth more than a good chunk of the seats they’ll be losing. Seats that are also not used for concerts or most State games

Used to work in sports so my perspective. A business that buys into season tickets is much less volatile than regular fans. Personal accounts drop off frequently (price, life events, performance, etc.) where a business using for entertaining is much less susceptible to those things.

Decent crowd. Lot of good giveaways and engagement. I don’t really go to a lot of these types of things but thought it was worth it, actual game aside.
Also loved that they projected the player/puck movements on ice. That tech is pretty neat.
