I get it, it just seemed a bit backhanded seeing as they've been steadily rebuilding/improving on some of the factors.
Guess it's good that AEW prevailed through the rebuilding/improving despite the unfortunate drops which I feel like was unfair due to the quality it had in 2024 imo.

Oops, change 'last year' to 2023 but yeah sorry about that. Was just a bit huh at the start of the article.
I do see this year being the year that the honeymoon is over for Trips' WWE though

AEW 'cold' in 2024?
Really? I thought they had an even better year than last year which I thought was good too despite it's obvious big bumps. It feels like they've had a steady climb of improvement after 2022 was rough for them imo

Glad I deactivated my Threads account

I did try Raw when it came on Netflix and I was bored of the fucking talking and celebrity spotlighting crap. NXT ironically does it better while main roster is just 6/10 at best when it bothers being ballsy and not stagnant

I can see that and the Continental title unifying into the Intercontinental title and be treated in the way how NJPW did when they had Nakamura as the IC champ around that time in that it can really steal the show from the world title.

I always chuckle when I hear "NeEdS a BoOkEr" or Writer and I'm like no you don't do that when the shows/PPV have been good to great for crying out loud lmao.
Also, when this comes up, they end up suggesting someone shite like Bully Ray or Bischoff.

You mean enjoy the death ride? :P
But I agree, I don't think it's great as it had some pacing issues but nowhere near bad though. Some people are just impatient.

Gee let the dude get back after a long absence first than throw him in the deep end like that, funny part would be they'd still complain anyway that Kenny didn't get his revenge on Callis either xD
comment in response to
post
Wait, people have been complaining about Kenny's current arc? What weirdos cause it's been great.

Honestly surprised WWE with the New Orleans inspiration for the new change didn't call him Catfish Cajun or something daft lol

I'll give it a try I guess if Instagram is going tits up

Day before Forbidden Door as well lol

I'm surprised that Ricky isn't pissed off with Punk cause his stupid actions at Wembley cost him probably an All Out main event for him. I'm very confused on what his problem really was.

When did Frodo Baggins become a fascist?
comment in response to

He got half of his previous name at least so there's that.

That tweet is coming from the guy who did a shite job as a booker for ROH. Just pointing that elephant in the room whenever you need to rip Blubba Ray in his so-called 'debate'
comment in response to

yeah, it's just waiting for them to starting releasing the tickets for it now xD
comment in response to

Yeah cause I remember before the pandemic I was doing RevPro shows and a couple of Fight Club Pro shows.
That's fair, I only done one RevPro show post-pandemic. My problem is usually picking between wrestling or music gigs/festivals xD
comment in response to

actually scratch that, the RevPro show was 2 years ago. I went to see Wallowing instead last year a day before All In lol
comment in response to
post
To be fair I don't really go to many UK wrestling shows as much post-Speaking Out tbh. Mainly been the 2 AEW Wembley shows (and eventually Forbidden Door when tickets come out for that), MITB, 1 RevPro show last year and NJPW's Royal Quest from a couple years back that had Ospreay vs Sabre Jr

The funniest part of that whole ring decable has been that I didn't notice it and was more intrigued by those steps they had. Honestly surprised the silly lot didn't complain about no steel steps 🤣

Jericho has to say "HI GUYS" before reading out a rule in the Canadian Rulebook then finishes off with "THANKS GUYS"
comment in response to

Whatever Jacques Rougeau's Canadian Rulebook said like pinfalls are 5 instead of 3 and after pinfall, the pinned wrestler has to get up before 10 or he loses 😂

Can sites like Sportsbible learn to not share absolute tripe like this too cause clearly it isn't what the majority of normal people thinks.

I laughed so hard when I saw this idiot quote someone cool here with a 'well acksully' take of nonsense that I've heard no one complain apart. Like who the fuck is complaining about the puppets and Mariah May of all people
comment in response to
post
I agree with what you're saying though, I'm just laughing hard at the hilarity of you posting it and you get one clown going "well acksully" with nonsense that I've heard no one else say....like who's complaining about the Mone puppet?
comment in response to

I love how you posted this and yet you get one idiot quote you with the most hilariously dumb takes I've heard no one say about the show 😂😂😂

9. All the matches were good to great with only one minor nitpick being the finish to the Brisbane brawl match. Main event fucking slayed, even more than their All In match which I thought was criminally underrated.
comment in response to

I just find WWE's stuff just a 6/10 best while the better stuff from them is on NXT but yeah agree with you fully.
comment in response to

Also nice to not hear certain people throw a tantrum cause of a different match result or booking decision that didn't exactly copy their fantasy booking etc
comment in response to

Aaah that sucks that happened, I seem to have been lucky and didn't see any spoilers at all besides being told the crowd were great, that was it.

I don't get why people turned on him when he returned from injury after enjoying him having fun again. Like I don't expect him to beat Mox but I don't mind him being a stepping stone/chapter of the story.

It'll be someone that's errrm........Timeless? :P

yeah that's what I meant before. Like I do agree they don't fit WWE but you'd think WWE would have tried and put either of them on NXT but didn't at all.
comment in response to
post
It actually surprises me that WWE hasn't tried with him at all even despite being best mates with TNA right now. Talk about dropping the ball when they had the opportunity, but they did the same thing with Speedball so yeah
comment in response to

Maybe as a Horowitz-type upset but I dunno, I still feel like it should be Kris that takes it off Mone to wrap up a trilogy of bangers imo.
