The cross country runner is CT who filed a suit over having to compete against transgender girls actually beat said girls in a meet. . . .

TBH the long-term answer isn't forgiveness, but vastly reducing/replacing interest. (E.g., simple interest or an admin fee)

Other than size they haven't really needed to change for about 25 million years or so, so, yeah.

IMO, the fact that several of the Ivys are so generous is partly responsible for the rise in applications, and I don't consider that a bad thing.

I believe Popehat's law still applies here.

Once again @smod4real.bsky.social disappoints: "However, the powers that be better hurry, as researchers predict that co-orbital asteroids’ orbits could become unpredictable in just more than 150 years — a blip in the interstellar timescale."

And yet there are people who would struggle at this.

A *very conservative* judge, who presumably wanted to be replaced by a competent conservative, not an idjit that Tr*mp would nominate or a liberal that Biden would nominate. . . .

Because they have been convinced that ish like banning trans people from the military somehow improves their lives, while things like clean water and a living wage don't.

Ugh. He's nobody's favorite, and saying that about the word woke is purely parroting GOP talking points. Why is he letting the GOP set the terms? FFS. Yes, there are things that need to change, but the answer is not to become more like Republicans.

I believe in anti-ossification limits (e.g., on the order of 24 years in either chamber or 30 years total), but I am vehemently opposed to anything below 18 total.

Yeah, the PSA count. Part of the problem is that PSA levels can also be elevated by *benign* prostate growth, and that condition happens in the majority of men above age 70.

No, actually. The recommendation is to stop at 70 because it tends to be so high at that age even in healthy men that the risks from the tests/treatments (biopsies, etc.) generally outweigh the benefits.

Remember the 2020 primary debates? Basically every time M4A came up, the *only* thing was moderators trying to get some Dem to say the magic (truthful) words that it would take an increase in taxes to accomplish, even if people would save money on premiums.
