the “C” in “CPU” stands for the C Programming Language. CPUs are called that because they are a hardware implementation of the C Abstract Machine as specified by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 22/WG 14.

I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that the first working ARM processor was on the 26th April 1985 ( at 3PM ) and that the Acorn Master 128 ( 8-bit ) computer was launched in January 1986! ARM is almost 40 years old. Champagne was opened to celebrate these histroric ARM events.

Flow (2024) is made with open source Blender and is a superb computer animated film with great music from Latvia about a cat and a flood. Fantasy but without too much sentimentality and no dialogue or humans.
