Thanks Chris. One of my personal favourites by her, too. She's done a lovely illustration for my new book. Also, I hope you saw this: tomcox.substack.com/p/the-magic-...

Leaving aside the many things other wrong with this, how much public money would be wasted in reading the responses, or how much public money was wasted in generating responses no one would read? These people are amongst the most stupid folk on Earth.

There can often be questions over the nature benefits of rewilding vs farming in some habitats (species-rich hay meadows, for example) but the potential to rewild some of our very many golf courses seems huge. (Sorry golfers)

I'm trying to remember who else was meant to have said that if you make your lie big enough, people will believe it..🤔 Were she a US politician she'd be as Trumpian as they come.

When a bird has died naturally, the tag keeps transmitting and the body can be recovered. Of course, the tags can fail, but it’s not common. Let’s hope we see this bird alive again – it’s possible – but history suggests we won’t. 2/3

We keep saying the same things in response to missing birds and confirmed persecution incidents (we have no power to do more). Given the fact that nothing changes, we're sharing the same statement we made in December when this happened last time. Nothing has changed. bit.ly/4baMId7 3/3

"Would be a shame to lose him but not a disaster". I thought you were talking about your husband at first.🤣 Seemed a bit harsh! (I really must follow threads better).

⬆️Leaving on 85 mins, as 'Lee' ('Lee Vesearly'), on our row does, means he misses 115 mins a season, plus added time c5 mins a game: 230 mins, or approx 2 1/2 matches worth of football every season. I don't recall ever leaving a game early. Maybe because I like to get my money's worth...🤔 #lufc

Come on both of you (easier for me to be positive when the tailend of flu is keeping away from the kop, I admit). 3-1.

"Sire, what's really got your Royal goat this week?' ... "Trees and wells are indeed twats, Sire." ... And who? Ah yes, the sun and the moon - notorious bastards, the pair of them. Will that be all, Sire?" ... A water resistant throne? I'll see what I can do, my liege.
