(X-post) Something I think about sometimes is how preppers often collect a bit of gold for bartering purposes in a SHTF scenario. I don't think that makes sense. One thing thing Elon successfully accomplished through the purchasing of Twitter was the shattering of online organization networks. Individual organizers and different organizations were scattered and now people have a more difficult time staying connected.
