I'm only half-remembering, but didn't Dr. Juniper Simonis while studying the effects of chemical munitions in Portland 2020-21 find that there might be toxic byproducts you might expose yourself to by doing this? I could be wrong, though.

Some stayed on Twitter (X? Never heard of it), while others went to Mastodon or Bluesky, or even went to more independent blogs. Despite the cons, however, the benefits of alternative social media platforms outweigh the negatives, so I suppose it's worth the downsides.
