Unaware Overpowered Protagonists are extremely strong, but don't realize they're extremely strong. They often see themselves as below average, sometimes because they grew up in a far-off place where EVERYONE's impossibly strong, but often for far dumber reasons. It's an often poorly executed idea.

The reason acts of parody so regularly predict Trump's actions is because Trump himself is a parody of a man.

If it's specifically a character asking a question they should very obviously already know the answer to, such as all the times professional physician Dana Scully M.D. asked questions related to the medical profession on "X-Files", that was called "cabbageheading" back in the day.

...but Miss Gamechamp clearly stated in the DKC video that she is a dumb, stupid, evil, clickbait loser. Are you saying she was LYING? ...You really think someone would do that...? 🐰

There are exactly two places I have ever encountered the concept of a lychee: as a dessert option at a local Thai restaurant (I live in New England), and from Pokémon. Every type of Berry in Pokémon has a name that's a pun on a real-world fruit or vegetable, including the Liechi Berry.

It can, but you need to match the dance with the poop. Doing the Mashed Potato actually requires bird poop.

...so after all that speculation from us about why the book is so big, the real reason turns out to be because Magic figured out another excuse to make spellbooks excessively verbose. Nature is healing.

Ah, so it's a storyline about rogue seyunolu setting fires by fucusing sunlight with magnifying glasses! DISCLAIMER: It is probably not a storyline about rogue seyunolu setting fires by fucusing sunlight with magnifying glasses.

Star Trek: Enterprise had a female Vulcan character named T'Pol. Likely a reference to that.

The point isn't that algorithms inherently promote bullying and hateful posts. It's that Twitter's algorithm specifically aims to promote them. It's literally an explicit goal for them.

The idea of a no-hit run is a specific manifestation of a "Mr. Perfect" run where you never make a mistake, so in Tetris it might mean reaching Level 29 (the original Kill Screen) without ever misplacing a piece...or, for a harder and/or more clearly defined challenge, only getting Tetrises.

I have no idea what song those lyrics are from or who sings it, so there's nothing to get in the way of me wholeheartedly reading this in Dracula's voice, and in my opinion that makes this ten times better.

You can put the Cinderella in the Tedd, but then you won't be able to take the Tedd out of the Cinderella.

The roadside mailbox at my house is fairly large...and deep. Sometimes the mail is far enough in the back that I can't quite reach it from the driver's seat of my car. I've started packing an extendable backscratcher in my car so I don't have to get out of the car to get the mail. Lifesaver.

Gamechamp is officially "wear shades and live hard" at video games?
comment in response to post
I've actually done that exact thing before, with a character's dialogue being cut off mid-word because they were speaking while phasing through a wall that the observer can't hear through. Good times.

No there aren't. They can move from pen to pen, but they can never fully escape the zoo, OR get into position to capture opposing pieces.

You can also use it to encounter many other species; you can even use it to encounter Missingno. so you can use the item duplication glitch early-game on Nuggets and Full Restores.
comment in response to post
When the glitch was first discovered, it involved using Fly on Route 7. As we came to understand more about how it worked, though, we became able to use it in other places and by other methods, and now you can get Mew before fighting Misty.

Star Trek has also had a problem with beings that arguably deserve the title of 'god' being real and active in the universe, which means such matters can't always be waved away as simple matters of belief.

I am 100% with you on the pausing. I hate it when reactors don't pause, and it's not even because they're making ME miss stuff (I can just watch the original); it's that they're making THEMSELVES miss stuff by talking over it, which harms the quality of their reactions.

There are three possible types of Clefairy that can appear: regular, Shiny, and a Ditto disguised as a Clefairy (trust me, you'll be able to tell.) IIRC, they actually grant different levels of bonus, with Shiny being the best.

We've definitely seen them in proximity in flashbacks. I don't remember if it clearly showed their relative heights...but I believe Bishop wasn't high-ranking enough yet back then to dress as she pleased, so if she looked shorter than this it could be chalked up to lacking the high heels.

That by itself doesn't, no. But Susan has been confirmed to ALSO be somewhere on the ace spectrum before.

Yes, you're right. Asexual means having little to no sexual attraction; aromantic means having little to no romantic attraction. They're often found together but are different things, can each appear without the other...oh, and both of them are also spectrums.

You got me curious so I looked it up. Basically superellipses are a whole family of related shapes, one of which is a normal ellipse. There's also the rounded-corner rectangles, and some four-pointed star thingys. So the "super" in this case is like "this but also more".

It would make sense for Tedd's Mom to be a redhead, because her sister (Tedd's aunt) is Nanase's mom. Nanase is definitely a natural redhead and I seem to recall her mom is too.
