When I was working with a trainer, the app they had me use had me take progress pics every two weeks. Going through that after a year really put the changes into perspective!

My experience with home/correspondence schooling is that parents CAN be great support, but you still need a real curriculum designed and marked by real teachers. And to write your tests at scheduled times in neutral spaces (I wrote mine at the local library).
