Bluesky has reached 30 million users 🎉 If you are looking for people to follow, here is a handy starter pack. Filled with French people who do #gamedev and are all very lovely. 💙 go.bsky.app/9PFHfaG

Bluesky get it first but I'm almost done with this album cover concept !! Just have to rework the gold mask, do a little something for the back and the inside but the main thing is done !! #art #blender #B3D #EldenRing

Twitter thread re-post (05/2022): "How do games intrinsically motivate players to explore" is a favorite #GameDesign topic of mine. Many of the games that do this achieve it partially by evoking a sense of awe while exploring their worlds. Let's talk about how that works in games

Apropos of nothing, my advice for aspiring gamedevs: -you get better at making games by making games -most game schools are a scam, but they're good at getting you in touch with other gamedevs -most of the people you can learn from have already left, but some of them left books/blogposts behind

Bought tiny glade after watching the ray marching talk this morning and the game is just soooo ✨beautiful ✨

This is some really cool stuff, Epic has been working on a new RayTraced Translucency on UE5-Main that uses Hit Lighting for reflections and refraction, as well as working with DOF!! Its super early but its shaping up well. #UnrealEngine #UE5 #GameDev #RayTracing #Graphics

I wrote a new article, this time exploring a bit how some games handle refraction. I discovered quite a few interesting tricks ! www.froyok.fr/blog/2024-12... #gamedev #rendering

Hey, Stephane here !! I’m a UE technical artist interested in shaders and rendering ! I also do 3D Art, videography and photography sometimes. I’ll mostly share about my gamedev journey here as I start working on my game or random art and I’ll try to share as much tips and knowledge I can !!
