Dozens of ppl contacted me over the past two days to point out that a host of medical conditions require lifelong medication. Many are cis and they expressed grave fears of the growing right-wing attacks on their “lifelong” care. This has become a talking point on the right aided by Kennedy

Estrogen has been in use for gender dysphoria since the 1950s, longer than the author and his editors have been alive. It’s not “novel” in any sense of the word.
This reckless and false assertion has even wider implications in an era when Trump is undermining medical science across the board

This graf tucks in a politicized attack on hrt treatment that is flatly untrue.
“But trans rights also encompassed novel issues. For those who medically transitioned, for example, living as a trans person could require lifelong treatment.”
“Novel”? That’s a falsehood.

I cannot emphasize this enough that for YEARS:
-trans women played various women’s sports.
-trans kids got medical assistance as they and their parents needed.
-trans folk could get accurate documents.
-trans folk used the bathrooms that felt appropriate.
AND NOTHING BAD HAPPENED.

Skirret (Sium sisarum) is a root vegetable with a name from Middle English meaning "white root". In Scotland & Ireland it's crummock & cearrachán (~"crooked"). In Danish & German: 'sukkerrod' & Zuckerwurzel' ("sugar-root").
To me, it looks like if Cthulhu was a plant.
