FYI. Public Comment is OPEN NOW for the upcoming ACIP meeting. In less than TWO weeks (June 25th) they will decide who can get COVID-19 vaccines. Their recommendations WILL influence availability and insurance coverage of vaccines. PLEASE BE SURE TO COMMENT.

Clarification: it’s not a “new staff didn’t pull their weight” problem because that’s not the case - every single one of them worked their asses off and I’m proud of what we created. It’s a “SAC work is just that intensive” problem

Yeah, in hindsight invite-only was not the way to go.
Historically, SAC had always had a staff shortage. So when rebuilding, I invited people I’ve worked with before and knew would stick around/be committed to the project. Alas, it still wasn’t enough and we were understaffed yet again

If we don’t care about target bans (as we shouldn’t). What would a full ban on screen accomplish that our current opt-out system doesn’t currently do?
Right now we have a system that accommodates the affected disabled players, and doesn’t make the ableds too cranky.

A good spec cam operator will know how to avoid screen effects for stream, even if a team has it. I think tournament streams aren’t a huge issue here, but any streamers will have to put the work in to practice avoiding screen.
