Picard: Data get out of there!
Data: But Captain, you told me to explore missed emotions more, I never experienced Ballpit joy
Picard: it is literally eating you!
Data: curious⦠I think I now understand the human emotions regarding āfetishā

Not sure whatās unfortunate. Itās great pics and posts. If people are so small they only can enjoy āfurry contentā theyāre pretty lame and not worth your time.

Do not feel bad about sharing this because furries. The lilies are a nice mental floss from everything else tbh and some of my favorite things to see pop up!

My major failure is that I naively think people will read nonsense I post online and develop introspection š¤·āāļø

Also as an aside; I feel some of this disappointment in people comes from people getting lost by being terminally online. I have watched it fundamentally change behaviors, moods, and how they treat others in deeply negative ways because they canāt handle the constant bathing of social media.

Everyoneās got their own shit, but it takes very little effort to be good to other people and at least be kind to friends.

Yeah exactly. sometimes a tool can provide an elegant approach, but to design said tool to make such result and then verify it, sometimes the ābrute forceā method is more time efficient; if each situation requires me to design a new tool as step 1, it is already a time sink

Oh I know hun! I appreciate you. You and I both know some people really suck and some people do dumb things which can toss up red flags. Giving a deep wolverine āUHG!ā And moving on is best :B
Like I donāt hate someone who owns a Tesla, but I will call it a swatzticar openly and loudly.

Of all the bads of social media; holding individuals accountable in these ways I wish we could stop. Even if it is well intentioned it goes south so fast.
Ive made snarky jokes and been āheld accountableā being told to leave the fandom and delete myself in a thousands of persons pile on.

Sucks for sure, but as they say, block/mute and move on.
Itās just not worth letting them populate your mind. Our time and thoughts are too precious to let negative people or behaviors dominate them.

Itās okay if someoneās behavior doesnāt sit right with you and changes your opinion of them. I say whinge among friends about how dumb it is, but I donāt think publicly airing views and peoples dirty laundry actually helps anyone but fan those uneasy feelings.

Others may have different views but I am very much a callout skeptic. I think keeping friends honest about stuff is best suited 1:1, offline.
Outside of friends; the pile on effect of callouts for non-criminal and non-abusive behavior really needs to take a back seat for our own wellbeing.

A lot of people pay for a blue check mark for various reasons, and while we may not agree with them doing it or why, everytime we put fuel in a car we are also contributing to people who cause problems.
I say things like this need to be let go and not put on blast.
