What an amazing idea! And it's impressive, how quickly this was done. Granted, there's been a lot of thought put into this, way ahead of realising the project. It's a also fantastic to see how Godot is a great tool to build something like this! godotengine.org/article/muse...

The [email protected] showcase at the @ign.com Fan Fest is starting soon! Here's how to watch: www.ign.com/articles/how...

Great to see another #Godot Engine game released on Xbox! www.xbox.com/en-us/games/...

GameFromScratch just announced that Valve released the TF2 source code alongside a huge Source SDK update. Quite a big move! gamefromscratch.com/team-fortres...

Have you ever wondered if there's a more performant alternative to the Windows Explorer? @vkrajacic made File Pilot (filepilot.tech) and it's ridiculously fast (and small). I can't even believe how fast it is.

My beloved @jetbrains.com Rider has saved me so much time. One particularly awesome feature is "Pull member up", which allows me to just move a member to the base class, for example. If you choose so, it also finds dependent members and pulls them up as well.

I got so fed up with PDF merging tools being either expensive or online, I made one myself. It's MIT licensed and bare-bones, but does the trick. Requires the .NET 9 SDK for now, until I have time to make a proper release (doing taxes nr and needed receipts merged 😂) github.com/Structed/Pdf...

I wrote pretty complex code that worked the first time. Somethings fishy. I should probably start over.

True story. Exactly what happened yesterday. (Via Programmerhumour on 🐦)

Shout-out to @florianrappl.bsky.social's AngleSharp being awesome (use it for pulling stuff out of an XML with many structural versions that has a schema that doesn't deserve the name schema and has dozens of structurally different versions. Lifesaver!

After 2 years, I finally had time to attend the graduation seminar and graduate to 6th Kyu Aikido Yoshinkan. It's been extremely exhausting, but even more rewarding. Thank you so much to my fellow Aikidokas for the great weekend, my Ukes Aya and Judith and my Senseis.

I cannot understand why some people choose to watch ads instead of paying money, whether for streaming or gaming or otherwise. Think about it: the currency is remaining life time. And you don't even know your account balance! You can't really get more, so you're just spending it by watching ads.

Omg, I absolutely love Godot 4.4! The best thing is the rework of the game window. I can now also pop it out across another monitor, and it keeps it's position. So many options now to work with it and manipulate the project in real-time. Fantastic work, team!

Up until now, we held all of our annual GodotCon events in Europe, but after the request of many of you and thanks to help from Boston Game Dev and Godot Users Group, we are finally able to bring the event to the US for the first time. 📣 Join us as a speaker! godotengine.org/article/godo...

Playoff time! Go Rams!

I've been at Microsoft now for a bit more than 5 years, and it's been a blast. While this company is so huge, it's filled to the brim with the best people. Everyone is extremely nice, and really cares - for each other, for society and for the world, making it a better place.

Stream Deck+ now finally supports actions on dials for every app, not just those with dedicated dial support! 🎊

I hereby declare @cloudflare.social the best DNS provider. It's easy to set up, easy to transfer to (and free!), easy to delegate permissions and easy to use their API. And thus, it's easy to use in various cloud integrations.

Haven't tried it yet, but everything that is a potential Freelancer successor definitely deserves a try!

Really enjoying spending some time with Godot again these days. Last year's been crazy in terms of work, and I had barely any time for hobbies between work and family.
