Bought a new PC with Windows 11, which is Windows 10 but now screams at you constantly to subscribe to Office 365, forces you to log in via a Microsoft account (breaking interop), installs OneDrive with no choice and only exists to turn the user into a product. It's an abomination.

I very much hope TLOU series 2 reaches the heights of the other gritty revenge-themed sequel just released - the new Wallace and Gromit: A Vengeance Most Fowl. Superb movie. I hope you’re listening @clmazin.bsky.social. There’s tough boots to fill.

Australia’s national anthem should include the line: “our home is girt by duopolies”

Where does Dennis Walter source his unicorn blood? Carols since 1971… Not even I’m that old. This guy was popular with the oldies 30 years ago. Something doesn’t add up.

Updated periodic table with origin of elements in the Solar System (for boron and lithium at least)

Bluesky is currently the #1 free app on the Top charts 🔵 Twitter (X) is no longer in the top 25

Like many an attempt by AusGov to censor and manage access to the internet in Australia, this is an idea which sounds reasonable and like it's about safety but will ultimately infringe on rights and privacy, and deny people access to communities and information they need.

Think it's worth remembering that News Corp launched its social media ban campaign not long after Meta announced no more news payments. The PM describing it as prompted by community concern is missing the massive self-interest aspect to this.

Ooh 20k followesr on BlueSky - that's pretty healthy but obviously not quite the million we had/have on the sad old shit hole that Twitter is these days. Do tell your friends that Fesshole is HERE, so that they can follow us / block us, dependent on their feelings.
