Just a toe dip them for them then. With potential for a big splash.

These series of ships that you did; I always look back at them for inspiration and reference.

Different Stuart Ng. ;) I'm the art director/artist. The other one owns the artbook store.

Hence why I said people are migrating to other platforms, but its slow.

It originally wasn't.

Lol no. It's just how artists get noticed there because art directors and others look for talent there cause the art communities are well established there. It's not just North Americans; a lot of artists from Japan, Korea, etc all use Twitter there to gain visibility and network.

I think migration has been slow; they've left for LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads and some even gone back to Facebook or Tumblr. The insane lay offs in the creative space haven't helped, so artists are scrambling to find a safe space.

It sucks for a lot of artists and art communities on the platform cause they built their following and business there unfortunately. It's how they spread awareness of availability and how they network with other artists and clients.

When used right, they can be poignant.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is awesome. I concur! I play it coop with my 8 year old daughter around this time of year. :)

I grew up watching CCA for the beauty of its animation. But the politics really clicked in as an adult. It's such a beautifully executed film, understated in space politics and philosophy. Unicorn while dramatically awesome, its political storyline is marred by its melodrama.

I remember seeing the face hugger and chest buster scenes as a kid. I'm likely still scarred to some extent.

Ah! Brave! I wouldn't let my kid watch Aliens at 8 haha. I'd love for her to watch it sometime but it'd probably give her nightmares. My kid is 8 as well, and she loved Secret of Sulfur Springs. It's got a bit of the Goonies, Goosebumps, and Nancy Drew in there. It's a good mix.

A bit softer of a show compared to Aliens and I dunno how old your kid is but Secrets of Sulfur Springs on Disney+ is great. It's dumb at times but surprisingly competent and well paced. It's created by a writer who used to do soaps, so it has a lot of fun twists and turns.

I had two really good pieces of advice. One was; when drawing a line, do it in one swoop so there's intent behind it. Unless what you're drawing is hairy, don't do sketchy lines. And the other was when I was told I "couldn't draw". The person forced me to rethink if I could even draw well at all.

It's a fairly new development. Ben Zhao at the University of Chicago developed the tool in collaboration with others and artists to help protect images from being scraped for artistic style into large language models.
