Didn't we play Spurs in Spain? 👀

I don't think he's done anything to suggest he is bigger than the club. He's putting in his all and as a boyhood fan you can't doubt his commitment. Would be cutting off your nose to spite your face to remove the best player itw at that position given how we're progressing in all comps so far

I have a similar feeling on VVD/Salah, but don't understand why we'd ostracise Trent. Had a similar scenario with Gerrard in 2005 potentially moving on and we saw how well that went for us playing in the team right through to the end of the season.

Ornstein's normally pretty good with this sort of news. Also said Salah proposal was close. Van Dijk being first as (probably) the cheapest of the three - and captain - would make sense?

Thought Grav was imperious again also, but we've come to expect that

Sorry mate, refuse to acknowledge it as a possibility. It simply can't be allowed to happen.

Obviously, neither were most on social media, I'd guess. But his goals (alongside some others' contributions) pulled us out of the mess we'd become is clearly what I'm saying

Not nearly as handsomely as he could have been elsewhere, and does he really look like he's going to drop off? He's in better shape than 99% of the world's population and has the G/A in 67% of all of our goals this season. Pay him whatever he wants.

He's not just given his best years, he's given us our best years

That close huh Dave?

And what about if I don't own him?

With JJ or Sam or Aaron?

Can see that, but personally think the two league games probably bigger than the Madrid game given how we've done in the CL already. Robbo for SOU & MC would be my choice I think

Don't you think he's more likely to stick with Robbo if Bradley plays so he's only make one change at the back rather than two?

Excellent content, but the people need to know the winner

I get that but he has bags of quality. He's adapting to a new club, the club itself is adapting to Slot and it's a new - more physical - league. Even if it doesn't quite work out, I'd sign up for him filling Shaqiri's role for the cost

Why? He was an injury gamble, bought for a squad-player price, did well in the time he has played and his absence isn't holding the team back. Might transpire with injuries the gamble didn't pay off but for the price I don't think any sort of referendum needs to be had at all?

Thanks Emma, that's a lot of pressure given the company in there

My family all supported them, but the surname and location left no choice with Aberdeen in Scotland. Was Man U as a kid in England because all my friends were, got sort of fed up with them, Liverpool beat them in the Worthington Cup and the rest is history.
