The only thing stopping me joining the Greens is that eventually, I'd have to vote against my MP*. I'll vote for them enthusiastically in the locals next year, even more so if @zackpolanski.bsky.social wins the leadership. I'd urge every green to vote for Zack. *I live in Islington North.

The majority of households with kids are net recipients from the welfare state (total taxes - total value of transfers & services = negative). Majority of working age households without kids net contributors. So I wish people would stop going on about people not having kids till they can afford to.
