I was there and still have that CD. It did feel like indie was stepping up to the big stage. It was truly great day.

Sunday and Monday. I'm going to leg it to your place from New Road as soon as the cricket finishes

That's the better half's job. I'm there for the cricket through the days on Sun, Mon & Tues, my job is to scout out the evenings for us.

Ha, upon investigation, that's a 2 minute walk from the Inn I'm staying in

She doesn't care. I've said for a very long time that whole department needs raizing to the ground and it's functions absorbed by other departments. It hasn't been fit for purpose for decades

She gets to look "hard" when all she is is hard hearted. Straw, Blunkett, Clarke, Reid, Smith, and Johnson are all broken people these days. She'll end the same way.

Had to get the AA out to jump start it. If our parents weren't aged and we need it to get to them in an emergency, we'd sell it in a heartbeat. It's just the worst way to travel

Have seen Charles Dance 3 times in the Waitrose on Holloway Rd. His taste in fish is excellent

I managed 4 and then strolled/wobbled back home in the sunshine. It's a great pub

Honestly, I might just do the bar because the 3 I've had so far are just too drinkable

Bloody hell, it's so good. A superb bit of brewing and a landlord that knows his cellar/pipes. Close to perfection

And it's really too hot for me to be drinking dark beers, but this is a bona fide classic from the best cask brewery in London so I couldn't resist

I hate to say it, but there's 1 team in the world that could salvage it and 1 that could blow it

Honestly, i have 25 years in international admissions expertise, I've been telling them since they planned AI it's impossible but no, instead of hiring a few more officers & letting me train them, invested money and time in slop. Who knew that you can't train it in nuance & feeling

Horrible flashbacks to my time at Brunel and "scoping" a CRM system. Just answer the emails and progress the application lads

It's such a great pub town, and that's right near the top of the options. I've only been once but absolutely adored my time in that city
