Losing weight is hard. I'm very tired and it would be so easy just to arrange a delivery but I am determined I'm going to get off my lazy ass and cook. The struggle is real!

The Brexit 'heavyweights' are starting to leave the conservatives for Reform. This is a tremendous opportunity for the conservatives to get rid of them for good and rebuild the party but they're too short sighted to take advantage of it. Doesn't really give one much hope for the future.

My FF XIV subscription is up next week and I've decided to cancel. The game is so much less interesting since Endwalker. I guess that was always going to be the case with Endwalker being the end of a long running story arc but I'm surprised how little whats come after has grabbed me.

I think polling should only be available to candidates during the purdah period, because it drives the debate too much. It is also manipulated to try to give an advantage to one campaign. Let people decide how to vote based on their own opinions, not what they think their friends are doing!

Whether or not climate change is real (it is!) the world is moving away from natural oil and gas as fuel and moving towards renewables and others. This isn't just because of the environmental impact, but the fact these resources are finite, and tend to be weaponised by authoritarian regimes.

A few months ago I put some bird feeders in the garden. Now when they are empty the birds will fly up to the window to get my attention. It's bad enough I have 4 kids constantly demanding to be fed, I can't afford to feed thousands of the neighbourhood feathered residents too!
