Someone I know has said about that place, and it has yet to be proven false...
"WWE thinks you're all idiots watching their shit."

Would he second Gabe for a rematch with Kenny?

It's when he got 'better' that it flipped properly for him. That's when the Evil Empire rose up and took the majors by its throat. If y'all hating it now with the Dodgers, ya wouldn't have made it through the late 90s and early 00s. 90s moreso cause they were inevitable for really real.

It's only way worse and super convoluted, yah?
If they flip Cody, they have the same problem only worse. No viable threats outside of Roman fans want to see beat him. (Cena shouldn't be champ at this stage, but yeah, gotta beat record that doesn't really mean shit or whatever.)

Not even close, actually, but y'all insist on trying to force a square peg into the roundest hole imaginable.
Mox is basically corrupted by the title, both the unofficial one he has had for years as company savior and now the actual one in the case.

I was gonna say Brodeur, but that's the Jersey in me talking. 🙂

Oh, their head of creative is a racist too. Let's never lose sight of that too or do if you wanna keep wondering why your favorite POC or black talent keep getting the short end of it from Mister I See Talent, Just Not In Anyone Darker Than Me.

So they're a shitty entertainment company that does mid wrestling and even shittier entertainment deals? Got it. (I remember WWE Studios, 1 good movie for like the lifetime of that place before they brought a wrecking ball to the thing.)

He will have to pick a side at some point. None of the 2 Way Aces that came before him did both, least not for an extended stretch and that was when it was 16 games.
Travis is gonna be something else I believe.

So when fans get salty about his booking, do they start rocking paper bags to the arena?

Not sure which I found...kidding, when you're hitting on RING SIZE, you have scraped the bottom of the proverbial barrel. I saw Global Wars and yet again, I find myself more or less praying ROH gets this thing figured out. Cause they haven't missed with these kind of one offs but the weekly is OY.

In the NBA, having the worst record doesn't guarantee you the best pick in the Draft. Ask Detroit how last year went from them when they stunk and still didn't get the top pick. I want the Nets to win, establish something to build on and get some folks in who can help. Losing just cause isn't it.

What about the Nets? Surely you want to 'Capture The Flagg', right?
SIGH. I am anti tanking. Tanking does not work, especially in the NBA. Don't believe me? Ask Philly about The Process in its totality. People have made tanking into some glorified fix it when in reality, it's far from that.

I see 4 definite title threats.
Boston, Cleveland, OKC & Houston.
I see some under the radar types who probably need a few things to break right but IF THEY DO...YIKES in GS, DAL (Nico needs a nuclear AD to bail him out on this and it's not too far fetched it happens alongside Kyrie), IND and ORL.

They're one of those 'their record really isn't who they are' teams and I think they're one and done in the playoffs. Luka's gonna probably drag them to a couple of wins, LBJ is probably gonna turn the clock back but his Old Yeller Moment is coming. Soonish.
As for the field at large...

Alright, second half starts in a couple of days.
Steph Curry still scares the shit out of me in a playoff series. I don't care. I think Jimmy's gonna help them if they can get in. They're gonna terrify someone.
The Lakers getting Luka will not matter NOW no matter their seed. They're brutal.

My solution is simple.
End the All Star Game.
Friday night is your Celeb Game and Rising Stars deal cause those youngsters deserve their time to shine.
I guess you can keep the Saturday Night thing going. I can't even begin to suggest how to turn this around. ASG is terminal for real.

Analytics have effectively killed the Three Point Shootout by turning every game into this only way worse and way sloppier. The Dunk Contest has been done for a while now and this doesn't fall on LBJ as much as most want to lay it at his feet. (For me, Gordon getting jobbed against Lavine did it.)

SIGH. Why are so many of y'all GOATs so damn suspect? (I'll probably ask this quite a bit once I get rolling.) I could go down THIS PATH, but I'm not. But yeah, you can't save this game when even your biggest name wants nothing to do with it the day of.
So this brings me to Saturday Night and oy.

LBJ literally bowed out the day of the game, meaning his team had no time to find an alternate. Probably a great thing this game prices most out of the live experience, but good grief. If ever you didn't need this, as a league, you got your biggest name blowing off the game THE DAY OF.
comment in response to

Actually, no. There was someone else and this is HUGE.
LBJ basically called off the DAY OF THE GAME which to my knowledge and recollection, is a first. Yes, people do bow out of this for injury related reasons and it's usually done in enough time so that replacements can be found. This was WHOA.

Bill Simmons suggested having stakes involved such as, home court in the NBA Finals.
MLB Commish Rob Manfred recognized how stupid this shit was and 86'd it extraditiously. You really want to add this to a sport where people are barely giving a shit as is? NO. This moreso than anything else...

The NHL is as physically demanding as any sport out there, even moreso cause they're FLYING at each other on ice no less. Yet here they are, going at each other for nothing more than pride, which is precisely what the NBA has priced out of their game. Pride. Who knew that overpaying folks did it?

1 first. It's over. Nobody else is or will call it, so I shall. I came to this conclusion watching USA v. Canada on Saturday night and while I jumped in AFTER the 3 fights in 9 seconds...I still saw a very competitive game that was as physical as can be for what's essentially an exhibition.

I've been an NBA fan about as long as I've been a wrestling fan. I'm as passionate about the NBA as I am about wrestling so know that what I'm about to say next...it pains me on many levels.
1) The All Star Game is dead.
2) All Star Saturday Night is flat and I'm not sure what changes this.

Wilson Fisk being the mayor of NYC is as frightening a possibility as can be on many fronts. He ran the city as Kingpin until Matt toppled him. He'll be damn near untouchable as Mayor of NYC. Fisk will make life unbearably brutal for any and all vigilantes in that city, but yeah. Gonna be fun.

The Netflix MCU series were really great and Daredevil did not miss. Probably gonna start rewatching that and my favorite episode is probably the fourth episode of season 2. Yes, the one where Matt and Frank have their rooftop chat. The MCU so far hasn't had a moment that has topped that one.

This feels like a 1 of 2 deal and Thunderbolts* will be the super important second part. That's gonna be what truly ignites a lot of what's set up here. Particularly on the Avengers 2.0 stuff which Ross does ask Sam to get going with.
Fun time to be an MCU head. This now. Born Again soonish.

I am curious what this movie could've looked like if Seth Rollins was in fact in it, but anytime we get Giancarlo Esposito as a villain, it's a win and he was great here as Sidewinder. Stearns was really scary and I'm glad they didn't overdo it with his look. The Red Hulk payoff was well done.
