Star is photoshopped on. It doesn't follow the surface contour.
I think AI would do a better job 🙄

According to Steam I played for 2.8 hours about 10 years ago (played the original IWAR in its day but not 2). Maybe it's time to give it another chance...

Wish I'd gotten that far. I couldn't get past them starting you out as an annoying child.

No it's the Siluro's cockpit. STOL doesn't have any art or a name yet

Bush administration did end up being kind of a wet fart instead of a dictatorship but at least we got some great KMFDM albums out of it.

IIRC longer hemlines are an indicator of recession, so aircraft orders falling during the same period would make some sense.

Though it would make barbecues more entertaining when Uncle Jeff gets too close to the grill in his leisure suit...

Good: bell bottom jeans, stainless toggle switches and wood grain
Bad: society never progresses beyond color palettes with avocado

Not a lot of postwar sedans on the market these days.
But gods I'd love to have the space and budget to turn one into a diesel-electric hybrid with a tastefully modernized interior.

but there's no way for an impressionist painting to capture the authentic number of rivets

I meant in the general flow of the shape, the spikey (haha) nose notwithstanding. Yours is more triangular whereas the Swordfish has the big straight wings that always seemed out of place on a racing ship.

Throwing right wing militia fighters through a stack of cargo containers using the helicopter's winch. I am far beyond sold.

There's a joke here about getting hair in my teeth but I'm not caffeinated enough to pull it off, so I'm making this meta-joke about there being an obvious joke.

Those masts are going to need anticollision lights to avoid snagging low-flying space stations.

...though I'd question whether they're using it so close to the front that it could control fighters inside Russian territory. It is pretty much exactly what the Axehead missile is meant to target, so that's quite a risk.

I meant if the Viper were flying North on the Flanker's 3/9 o'clock, obviously.
The situation could easily have been reversed. But Ukraine does have a shiny new AWACS now...

I suspect the degradation of Russian early warning capability was a major factor here.
If Flanker was on E or W course and Viper was flying N, w/o networked radar coverage Viper has advantage.
Also not ruling out popup ambush along a known strike/patrol route as in early Vietnam.

Russian hardware is never as good as they say, and Russian operators are never as good as they say.
But more importantly: the best radar and missile in the world are also irrelevant if they're pointed in the wrong direction.
