Gvie this game a try if you want to beat stuff up or just want a fun aciton or "beat em up" style game. One of my favorite games played so far this year. Maybe next I'll try Mario Odyssey or do my first new game of the year. Look forward to my next review! (5/5)

I can see why this game got nominated for Game of the Year in 2014, and I overall enjoyed this game's combat system which carried its not as strong story, and the final boss was very fun, and not such a "trip" like it was in the first Bayonetta. I give this game a 9/10. (4/5)

The amiibo do make this game much easier to go through with loads of free halos to buy all the accessories and techniques early on. But it opened my options by alot to make the game more fun at the same time. I like having multiple combos in "beat em up" and action games like this (3/5)

which made the battles all the more exciting. And games like Bayonetta are where the combat really shine. The game also helped you find the secret challenges compared to the first game hiding them for you to seek out. They were still challenging at times and forced me to learn the game better. (2/5)

After really enjoying my time with the first Bayonetta, I knew I was in for a good time with the sequel. While the story isn't as great as the first game was, the combat was where this game really shined. With many more options compared to the predecessor, I had more combos at my disposale (1/5)

Same thing happened with the packs that focused on Dialga and Palkia (forget the name), but those battles get tough by the end.

This will be a fun experience if you love platforming like I do. I give this game a 8/10, and I hope the sequel, Will of the Wisps improves on the combat and makes the platforming fun (repost since I lost the OP).

I give Ori and the Blind Forest a 8/10.
It is a very charming experience, and an awesome entry to Metroidvanias. It does take a lil bit to get started, but you will be in for a fun treat if you love platformers like I do. I hope this does carry into the sqeuel Ori & the Will of the Wisps.

at 1 and you collect more by acquiring Energy Cells over the game. Energy can also be used for opening doors and certain moves in combat, forcing you to utilize your resources. After the first hour or so, I got in the hang of this and had alot more fun platforming (3/5)

this evovled so much after I got an ability in the first major location of the game. The story was also very charming and got me to shed a few tears, with only occasional text from a narrator, this delivered very impactfully with no dialogue. I finished this game in like 9 to 10 hours for 100% (4/5)

This game focuses alot more on platforming than combat, which was a very nice surprise. Your options start very limited early on, but you get more as you progress, and every death takes you back to your last save. You can only save by spending energy outside of combat. But your energy starts (2/5)

This was my first Metroidvania (not counting Have a Nice Death, which I quit mid-game), so this is my first one all the way to the end. And I love how beautiful this game looks, it has amazing art direction between the background, where you move around, and in front of where you move around (1/5)

I give Metaphor Refantazio a 10/10, this is near perfection. This game also CRUSHES Persona 3 Reload as my Game of the year for 2024, you can bet this will be a second runner for my Game of the Decade. Please give this game a shot, there is a free demo that covers the first 6 hours. (5/5)

Metaphor Refantazio is an experience I'll never forget, you can NEVER play a game like this and get the same experience, and miss the charm of a first experience. So treasure the journey. (4/5)

The difficulty can be very anxious at times and it made me think of how to approach boss battles. Because one wrong move and your entire team can fall to death. But having battles like this make combat all the more exciting, and I love having a challenge at times. (3/5)

The level of customization with your archetypes is phenominal, and alot to take in at first, but I got the jist in no time. Having overworld battles similar to Xenoblade and Turn based combat similar to SMT and Persona, this game has it all and other RPGS can learn from Metaphor. (2/5)

Coming from somebody who loves the Persona games, I knew I would be home here. The story picks up very fast and it tackles themes that hit close to home for me, as well as having many surprises I didn't see coming. I don't want to spoil things, but you'll be hooked. (1/5)
